Although I would hesitate to draw parallels there is an irony in the fact that the lead engineer on the Murena project was an electrician and the car has an under specified electrical system.
I think 'Richard Chamberlain' may have been re-employed by Peugeot in the late '90's - the otherwise excellent 406 has notoriously bad electrics and a particularly problematic fuseboard, some of which is hidden and doesn't show up on wiring diagrams!
We did manufacture our own version of the Murena fuseboard some years ago but we don't have any more stock.
As electronics have advanced so much in 30 years I understand that a replacement fuseboard could now be manufactured very cheaply with additional improvements to offer a real upgrade. Anyone interested?
